Muslim background believers in the North Africa nation of Morocco are on edge.

A judge sentenced a former Muslim to 30 months in prison this week just for becoming a Christian.

According to a Christian ministry, a Moroccan newspaper is reporting that Mohammed was accused of telling another person about his Christian faith and having Christian books in his home.

He was not allowed to speak with a lawyer or even call his family or friends.

The paper reportedly said he revealed the names of other Moroccan Christians and foreign believers in other cities, and that the prosecutor has ordered those Christians to be brought in.
