More than 200 Nigerian girls kidnapped by Islamic extremists are still missing and new reports suggest the teenagers are being forced to marry.

Authorities suspect the girls were taken from their school in Borno state by members of Boko Haram.

Now a local Nigerian leader said the militant group is selling them to Islamic extremists for marriage and that some have been taken into neighboring Cameroon and Chad.

A group of security chiefs, state governors, and religious leaders met last week to discuss how to find the girls.

The Nigerian president calls it the most pressing security issue facing his country.
