Islamic terrorists are threatening to bomb five European airliners over the Christmas season, prompting changes to traveler guidelines.

According to Express website, officials are considering banning carry-on bags, mobile phones, and all electronic devices on passenger jets.

The plot is said to involve Islamic terrorists who want to smuggle bombs on planes bound for European cities. The terrorists hope to create, a "spectacular attack."

British authorities say some kind of terrorist attack in the United Kingdom is "almost inevitable" with so many British jihadist's returning from fighting in Syria.
