Secretary of State John Kerry will meet with Mohammad Javad Zarif, one of Iran's top diplomats, in an attempt to revive faltering nuclear negotiations Monday.

Kerry didn't say how long the talks will run, but he will continue to gauge Tehran's willingness to make choices about their nuclear development.

The negotiations come days before the deadline for an agreement between Iran and six world powers (United States, Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia) on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program.

On Sunday, the U.S., Britain, France, and Germany failed to reach a breakthrough on uranium enrichment that would curb Iran's nuclear program. China and Russia sent lower-level officials to the gathering.

The countries have until July 20 to reach a deal that will limit Iranian activity and set in place an international monitoring regime.
