White House Urged to Make Iraq Christians a Priority

Virginia Congressman Frank Wolf is calling on the Obama administration to help Iraq's Christians.

In daily speeches on the House floor, the Republican lawmaker is urging the administration to make protecting the ancient community a priority.

Tens of thousands of Iraq's Christians have fled their homes since members of the terrorist group Islamic State seized the city of Mosul last month.
Most have sought refuge in Kurdish-controlled northern Iraq.

Wolf says the administration needs to ensure that part of the U.S. aid being sent to Iraq is going to help the Christians.
