Gunmen attacked four Christian churches in northern Nigeria, Sunday, killing at least 30 people.

Witnesses say the attackers opened fire on worshippers, then set fire to the churches and people's homes in the village of Kwada.

Authorities suspect the radical Islamic Boko Haram terrorist group carried out the attack on Kwada and two other villages in Borno State.

The villages are near Chibok, in a mainly Christian area that has been under attack by the terrorist group in recent months.

Boko Haram kidnapped hundreds of schoolgirls from Chibok in April.
