The aid group Doctors Without Borders said an aerial bombing run over a Sudanese village hit one of its medical facilities, partially destroying a hospital.

The bombing, which occurred Monday in the Sudanese region of South Kordofan, injured five people in the village and one staffer.

The group's head of mission, Brian Moller, said they're shocked that a medical facility was hit, especially since it is clearly identified with a flag and and a cross on the roof.

Moller said Khartoum's government knows where the hospital is.

Sudan's military is fighting soldiers in the region aligned with South Sudan.
