The CIA's drone program in Pakistan is winding down, President Barack Obama suggested in a foreign policy address this week.

Speaking at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Obama said the United States will continue to carry out occasional drone strikes in Yemen and Somalia.

He did not mention Pakistan, where at one point drone strikes occurred at a rate of two per week.

There hasn't been a drone strike there since last Christmas.

Nevertheless, armed CIA drones are still flying regularly over Pakistan's tribal areas.
