Egyptian Christians are calling on police in southern Egypt to find a kidnapped housewife.

Hundreds demonstrated outside a police station in Minya province Wednesday, demanding law enforcement authorities take action to locate a 37-year-old Coptic woman, who disappeared two weeks ago.

Police arrested some 33 Christians after Molotov cocktails reportedly were thrown at the police station.

Egypt's Christians have complained about the rising number of kidnappings of Christian women by Muslim men.
