Dozens Dead in Boko Haram Attack on Nigerian City

Nigeria's military fought back against a Boko Haram attack on Maiduguri, the country's largest northeastern city, Sunday. Dozens were killed in the assault.

Meanwhile, the Islamic terrorist group has kept up it attacks on villages to the south. They have killed, looted and burned homes, while capturing dozens of women and children.

Survivors say they're are slitting residents' throats.

There are attacks on at least three fronts, and they are unfolding as Secretary of State John Kerry visits Nigeria's commercial capital.
 
Kerry pledged America will continue to support Nigeria's military in its fight against Boko Haram.
