Liberia is just weeks away from being declared Ebola-free, nearly a year after the deadly outbreak began.

The last known case of the disease was cured March 5. If no other cases are reported by April 16, the country will be declared Ebola-free.

Meanwhile, people in the country paused to honor the victims of the illness with a church service this week.

The observation was held on Liberia's National Decoration Day. The holiday is normally set aside for people to clean and re-decorate the graves of their deceased family members.

More than 4,100 people have died in Liberia since the Ebola outbreak.
