Beauty Tips

Isn’t it fun being a girl? Hip fashions and funky jewelry are the bomb. Shopping is awesome.

I love to find bargains on dangly earrings and chunky jewelry. Forget studs, I need substance!

Different looks, from casual to chic, make life sizzle. Girl, let me tell you--pedicures are to die for! Baby pink polish and crystal toe rings rock my world. Uh huh. Lip gloss ranks right up there with my cell and mascara is way cool. My hairdresser, let me tell you, she totally rocks too. Who else can rescue me from being so. . .yesterday?

Wait a minute. All this talk sounds shallow. Don’t get the wrong idea! I’m no dummy. Being pretty on the outside isn’t where it’s at. In order to really be a hit, I've got to be in love with God and His Word. Hugging God in my heart is where my beauty starts. Without that solid foundation of love in my heart, I’d just be a bag of dirt. Don’t listen to the media. The girl who trusts the Lord is the one who really has it going on.

Girlfriend, before putting on your duds in the AM, put on the great I AM. His love will transform you into a “bling bling” for all the world to see. Trust me—this is the best beauty tip you’ll ever get, and all for free! You better soak in the love of God more than you do a bubble bath. It’s value blows everything else out the window, for sure. Without Jesus, you’re just an empty mask like earrings with no dangle. Me?

No Thanks. Give me the beauty that never fades. I'll put my Bible before my blow-dryer any day.

Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. (1 Peter 3:3-4 NKJ)
