When little abandoned Sarah was first found.

Orphan's Promise is partnering with a Children's Orphanage in Mongolia to bring light, hope and the love of Jesus into the lives of orphans and vulnerable children.
Since opening in 2003, this Children's Orphanage has cared for 119 youngsters and placed almost half of these children into loving families through adoption. Many of the children who have lived or are living at the orphanage had been abandoned by their parents, and some of these had special needs. Other children had parents in prison or were rescued by police from unsafe or abusive circumstances. Since it began, the orphanage has been able to reunite 39 children with parents who had improved their situation to the point where they can now provide safe and adequate care for their child.
Sarah is now a bright, happy child who loves others. |
One precious little life who has benefited from the monthly financial assistance that Orphan's Promise provides is 6-year-old Sarah. In 2006, when Sarah was just 9-months-old, police found her abandoned at the entrance of an apartment complex, possibly due to her physical deformities. She was taken to the
orphanage and there given the name Sarah because staff believed she would be blessed. Sarah now receives all the love and care she should have been receiving in her own family. She has since undergone one operation on her club foot and another to separate her fingers, and is receiving therapy at the attached child development and rehabilitation center. Sarah has just begun attending a special needs school and is growing into a lovely little girl, with a smile to warm the coldest heart. She is now truly being blessed, and in turn, is blessing and warming the hearts of others.
Orphan's Promise is so pleased to be able to partner with this Orphanage to help Sarah and many other abandoned and needy children in Mongolia, find light and genuine love for the first time in their lives.
