Kids Get Help in Katmandu
Posted: October 2010

If you were around in the 70’s, you may recall Hippies heading to Katmandu to find “Nirvana”. Not sure if any of them did, but today’s kids are finding something really wonderful; a chance at a new life, thanks to the efforts of dedicated workers and Orphan’s Promise.

The kids I’m speaking of are slum kids and they don’t have much hope for any kind of life. But, now Orphan’s Promise is helping to bring in computer education and learning skills to 20 kids and they are loving it! More want to come to the training center and more computers will be needed.

The teacher writes:

Right now we have 20 kids are learning computer, and all are very goods, their regularity prove that their interested, We are very much happy that many other Slum kids also asking us to join them too in computer class, So please do pray that for the suitable environment and good places so we can give more chances for those kids who are very much interested to learn the computer,

Thank You!!!!!

Terry – it’s stories like this that touch our hearts and we hope they touch yours as well. When you become a part of the Orphan’s Promise family, you help make life “happen” for children who, would otherwise, have no hope.
