Terry – An update from our man on the inside – danger, intrigue and falling in love with the children of Burma. . .

What an incredible experience it has been to be here and be a part of this special program and meet with some amazing partners. I thank God Orphan's Promise has the chance to help with this wonderful program that is touching the lives of Burmese children who have to live in a land of so much injustice and oppression. It has been a blessing to see their smiles and some glimmers of hope and joy that have been brought through the love of God shown displayed in this outreach program.

I thank you for your prayers for this short trip I have been on and ask that you will continue to remember the people of Burma and many other ethnic groups who suffer so much in this land on a daily basis. Please hold them up in prayer, along with this nation, and these amazing partners we have been able to work with who have sacrificed so much to help these people on the ground. They are true heroes of mine and it has been a privilege to spend some time with them and see impact their frontline ministry that is having in the lives of internally displaced people and those suffering injustice from the military junta.

Please also pray for our teams’ departure that we will have safe passage to our destination and we will have the strength for the long hike over a lot of mountains. Also pray for other teams who will go out to many parts of Burma to continue to bless the children through this program and bring them the Good News of Jesus and the hope and eternal love that can only be found in Him.

For those of you who have prayed and given to Orphan's Promise, we thank you for being a part of this as well. I hope that we can continue to bless these precious children here in Burma through our partners in the years to come.
