We just received the following letter from an orphanage we are helping in India. Read for yourself the happiness and blessings you are providing for orphaned children who have no one but you to turn to.
Vivian writes -
Nita and her 7-year old brother Suraj are orphans. Relatives brought them to our orphanage in Sikkim. Thankfully, here they are able to live in safety and security and enjoy going to school, to learn, and dream their dreams of becoming an Engineer and a Doctor.
Our staff provides love and care for all the children here but money is always short. Sometimes there is barely enough to feed the children, much less provide clothing and shoes. When the monsoon rains came, the staff needed to provide raincoats so the children could walk to school without being drenched.
Orphan’s Promise was contacted and asked if we could help. How could we resist? We sponsored rain jackets for Nita and Suraj along with 27 other children. Their faces shone with happy smiles as Orphan’s Promise handed them a brand new rain jacket.

Wearing their new raincoats, Nita and Suraj and all the other children are happy to walk to school even in the pouring rain.
The Orphan’s Promise team also surprised the kids with games and painting competitions. Their excitement and happiness was overwhelming when they bagged prizes for the competitions along with new school bags, books, stationary and blankets.
Thank you again and again from the bottom of our hearts for caring for children a world away who need you so much.
Terry – It’s hard to imagine being so happy over something as simple as a raincoat, isn’t it? But there are many simple things that we take for granted that children in developing nations have never known. You are bringing the good things to them in the form of your prayers and donations. Thank you from all of us at Orphan’s Promise!
