New boarding house for the MICS school in Zambia

During the past year and a half the Orphan's Promise family has graciously donated the funds to build a second boarding home for MICS, the school and orphanage we support in Zambia. This dorm and boarding house will enable MICS to house more orphans and vulnerable children. It will allow MICS to have a girls and a boys dorm, and allow us to take in children from a distance so we can become sustainable for the Zambians.

Of course, having the building is wonderful, but we also need to have it filled with things like bunk beds, blankets, pillows, school supplies, etc. There is a volunteer team from Illinois that have worked tirelessly to supply all the needed items – Praise the Lord! Now, we are at the final stage – getting it there!

We are asking your help in shipping a 40ft shipping/cargo container to Zambia, which will take $15,000 US.

Believe it or not, buying the things here and shipping them, especially in these quantities, is the most cost effective way to handle the problem. While the cost is high, it is worth 10 to 15 times that amount to those who are waiting for it.
