CBN.com —The Zhangs were thrilled when their son Ha Xuan was born - until they heard that he had a hole in his heart.
Mrs. Zhang remembers, “When the doctor told me Hao Xuan had heart disease, my world fell apart.
Mr. Zhang adds, “It was our worst nightmare!”
Hao Xuan’s sister says, “I was so worried about my brother. Every time he cried, it made me cry, too.”
And Hao Xuan cried all the time! Mrs. Zhang recalls, “He could not breath, and he would choke on his tears. I was so scared that he would choke to death in his sleep.”
The hole in Hao Xuan’s heart grew bigger, and since his poor parents couldn’t afford surgery, they knew they would soon lose their son. Then, just as they were about to give up hope, they heard about CBN's mission to help needy children like theirs.
“When CBN said they would help us with surgery, I almost shouted for joy,” smiles Mr. Zhang.
Mrs. Zhang joins in, “This meant my son would live!!!!”
A doctor repaired the hole in Hao Xuan’s heart and repositioned his artery. Today, you’d never know how close this precious little boy once came to losing his life.
“My son is healthy and happy now! I never thought that such a wonderful thing would happen to my family,” says Mr. Zhang.
“Thank you for your loving heart for my son,” Mrs. Zhang adds. ‘Your help healed my broken heart and made me whole and strong again.”
Hao Xuan’s sister chimes in, “I love my little brother. Thank you so much for saving his life!”
