CBN.com — Army Sergeant Bishop Littleton loves being home with his family. But, he knows when duty calls his household runs smoothly when he's gone, thanks to his wife Kesha.

"I'm very proud of her," he says. "There's so much that she does; bills, taking care of the house. I don't really have to worry about the home when I'm away from home."

When Bishop left in January for a one year tour to South Korea, Kesha moved into deployment mode knowing their four children rely on her to stay strong.

"There are four faces that need me. That's what keeps me going," she says.

At the time, the family had very little furntiure. There were no kitchen chairs, no living room furntiure, and all four kids shared one dresser. And one bedroom was empty. What furniture they did have was broken, but Kesha never complained. She says they wanted to avoid buying furntiure on credit.

"Some people think, ‘Oh, you don't have a couch to sit on. Or, you don't have any chairs and your kids are sitting on the table.' I don't find it really that bad. Because it's better to pay off debt than to have everything and you can't pay to keep your lights on or your car note."

When Calvary Chapel, Newport News contacted CBN, the family became the next recipient of Helping the Home Front.

CBN helped pay for Bishop's flight back when he came home for leave. So the couple was together when they learned CBN was buying them a house full of furniture.

Calvary Chapel Pastor Reggie Mason took the family to local furniture store Esprit Décor. Owner Mark Christian sold the furniture at cost. The Littleton's received a dresser for their daughter, bunk beds, mattresses and a dresser for their two youngest sons, bedroom furniture for their oldest boy, a dinette and family room furniture.

Kesha says God answered their prayers. "This is mind blowing! Our God is awesome."

So when Bishop returns to Korea for the rest of his tour, Kesha and the children will be much more comfortable thanks to Helping the Home Front.

Bishop says, "We don't get things like this. It doesn't just happen like this."

Kesha responds, "It's amazing, just say, 'It's amazing; just say, It's amazing.'"

Bishop answers, "It is! It is amazing."
