Reporter: FOR MANY IN

SOUTH SUDAN, THERE IS STILL

EXCITEMENT SURROUNDING THEIR

NEWLY FORMED COUNTRY.

BUT FOR THE REFUGEES FLEEING

INTO THE NEBA MOUNTAINS

BECAUSE OF THE ONGOING

FIGHTING, LIFE IS STILL VERY

HARD.

"OPERATION BLESSING" IS

WORKING TO DELIVER FOOD,

MEDICINE, CLEAN WATER AND

SUPPLIES TO THESE DISPLACED

PEOPLES WHO ARE FLEEING

THERE.

WE HELPED TO LOAD A

CHARTERED DC3 IN NAIROBI,

AND OPERATION BLOOD

"OPERATION BLESSING" BILL

JUMPED RIGHT IN AND TOLD US

MORE.

WE HAVE TENTS, BLANKETS,

A WATER PURIFYER, 750,000

TABLETS TO DE-WORM KIDS.

Reporter: ONCE THE

PLANE LANDED, WE DIDN'T

WASTE ANY TIME GETTING THESE

CRITICAL SUPPLIES INTO THE

COUNTRY, AND TO THE NUBA

PEOPLE SEEKING REFUGE IN THE

MOUNTAINS.

FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN LIKE

THIS WOMAN AND HER

DAUGHTER.

HER HOME WAS DESTROYED.

HER NEIGHBORS WERE KILLED.

THEIR STORY IS LIKE SO MANY

OTHERS WHO WERE ABLE TO

ESCAPE BUT THEN LACKED EVEN

THE BASICS TO SURVIVE UNTIL

"OPERATION BLESSING" CAME TO

THEIR AID.
