FIVE YEAR-OLDS RAMADA AND

MARTY ARE BEST FRIENDS, THEY

PLAY TOGETHER AND GO TO THE

SAME SCHOOL, BUT THEY'RE NOT

YOUR AVERAGE YOUNGSTERS, BOTH

OF THEM ARE DEAF.

PARTY LIVES WITH HER MOTHER AND

BABY SISTER, LITTLE MARTY TRIED

TO HELP AROUND THE HOUSE BUT IT

WAS HARD TO COMMUNICATE WITH

HER.

SHE JUST ROAMED AROUND ALL

DAY, IT WAS DIFFICULT FOR ME TO

SEE [INAUDIBLE] I REALLY DIDN'T

KNOW WHAT TO DO.

RAMADA ALSO LIVES WITH HER

MOTHER AND HER AUNT.

SHE WAS AN ACTIVE GIRL, I

WAS WONDERING HOW I COULD KEEP

HER SAFE AND HAPPY AT HOME.

THEN BOTH OF THE MOTHERS

LEARNED ABOUT THIS CENTER

THAT'S SUPPORTED BY ORPHAN'S

PROMISE, IT'S THE ONLY CENTER

FOR THE DEAF IN SENIGAL, THESE

GIRLS ARE LEARNING TO SIGN,

THANK TOS THE SUPPORT ORPHAN'S

PROMISE, THESE IRS IS GROW UP

WITH ALL THE SKILLS THEY NEED

TO HAVE A GREAT LIFE.

SHE'S ABLE TO FOCUS NOW, SHE

REALLY ENJOYS SCHOOL, SHE LOVES

HER BOOKS AND SCHOOL WORK.

I'M VERY HAPPY TO SEE HER AT

THE DEAF SCHOOL, NOW SHE CAN

READ HER BOOKS.
