ROAR REPORTER AFTER YEARS

WITH HER ALCOHOLIC HUSBAND

THREATENED TO SLIT HER THROAT.

HE HAD A KNIFE AND SAID HE

WOULD CUT MY THROAT.

SHE ESCAPE AND WENT TO SEE

HER AUNT AND UNCLE.

MY HUSBAND DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT

HIM.

I KNEW WE WOULD BE SAFE.

UNFORTUNATELY THE ONLY PLACE

HER RELATIVES COULD OFFER HER TO

STAY WAS A DAMP UNFINISHED ROOM

IN HER HOUSE THAT LEAKED WHEN IT

RAINED.

WHEN OPERATION BLESSING LEARNED

OF EMNA'S SITUATION, WE HELPED

HER FIX UP THE ROOM WHERE SHE

WAS STAYING AND BROUGHT

MATTRESSES AND OTHER HOUSE HOLD

ITEMS.

SHE NEEDED WORK TO SUPPORT HER

SONS.

I KNEW I HAD TO FIND A JOB.

IT WAS HARD FOR MY UNCLE TO

SUPPORT US ALONG WITH HIS OWN

FAMILY.

OPERATION BLESSING PROVIDED

HER WITH A YOUNG CART TO BUY AND

SELL FOOD.

THE YOUNG WOMAN CRIED.

THIS IS VICTOR, THE

SEVEN-YEAR-OLD SON.

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, YOU ARE

HELPING MY BROTHER AND MOM AND

ME.

TO EVERYONE AT OPERATION

BLESSING, MAY GOD BLESS YOU

MORE.
