Operation Blessing Helps Widow Reopen Business

When a typhoon washed away Emma's snack business in the Philippines, this widow was left in desperate need. Operation Blessing was able to help her get back on her feet, cooking the native foods she loves to prepare. Read Transcript

HOUSE, I KNEW I HAD TO GET OUT.

FLOODED AND DESTROYED HUNDREDS

OF HOMES INCLUDING

EMMAS.

WHEN THE WATER RESEEDED HER

THINGS WERE BURIED IN MUD.

CBN BROUGHT RELIEF SUPPLIES AND

SLEEPING MATS AND FRESH WATER.

FOR EMMA, WHO WAS A WIDOW, CBN

DECIDED TO DO MORE.

FIRST WE CLEANED AND RESTORED

HER HOUSE.

CBN GAVE EMMA EVERYTHING SHE

NEEDED TO RESTART HER BUSINESS

MAKING AND SELLING SPRING ROLLS.

EMMA'S FOOD BUSINESS IS DOING

WELL.

SHE IS NOW ABLE TO PROVIDE FOR

HER GRAND KIDS WHOM SHE IS

HELPING TO RAISE.

CBN PROVIDED EVERYTHING I

NEEDED TO GET BACK ON MY FEED.
