Reporter: 37-YEAR-OLD

ABLIA OF SENEGAL IS ONE OF

THOSE GUYS WHO PEOPLE LIKE

TO BE AROUND.

MAYBE IT IS BECAUSE HE

ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE SMILING.

EVERY DAY WHEN I WAKE UP,

I GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR THE

GIFT OF LIFE.

LIFE IS SO BEAUTIFUL.

THAT'S WHY I SMILE ALL OF

THE TIME.

Reporter: AND ABLIA'S

SMILE IS EVEN MORE

REMARKABLE BECAUSE OF THE

CHALLENGES HE HAS HAD TO

OVERCOME.

AT THE AGE OF NINE, HE

CONTRACTED POLIO, WHICH LEFT

HIM LAME.

I TOLD MYSELF EARLY ON I

WILL NEVER BE A BEGGER.

Reporter: SO HE DECIDED

TO SET UP HIS OWN BUSINESS.

WITH THE LITTLE MONEY HE

HAD, HE BOUGHT BRICKS AND

CEMENT AND ASKED SOME

FRIENDS TO HELP HIM BUILD A

STORE.

WHEN THE BUILDING WAS DONE,

THERE WAS NO MONEY LEFT TO

STOCK IT.

THAT'S WHEN CBN OFFERED TO

HELP.

WE GAVE HIM CORN, FLOUR,

RICE AND OTHER ITEMS TO SELL

IN HIS GROCERY STORE.

IT IS AMAZING HOW GOOD

BUSINESS HAS BEEN.

Reporter: AND TO HELP

HIM MOVE AROUND TOWN, CBN

GAVE HIM THIS SPECIAL

WHEELCHAIR.

THANK YOU, CBN, FOR ALL

OF YOUR HELP.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
