LOTS OF STARS CAME OUT TO

FAMILY-FRIENDLY MOVIES.

IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA.

HUNDREDS ATTENDED THE GRAND

I'M A HUGE FAN OF THOSE

TYPES OF MOVIES AND TVp

I WANT TO SEE THEM PUSHED

MORE TO THE FOREFRONT.

I WANT THEM TO FEEL THAT

THEY CAN MAKE BEAUTIFUL

STORIES AND FAMILIES ARE

GOING TO COME AND NOT JUST

BE ENTERTAINED BY IT, BUT

TALK ABOUT IT IN THE CAR ON

THE WAY HOME.

BECAUSE THEY'RE REALLY JUST

LIGHTS ON THE SCREEN.

SERIES WON THE RATINGS AND

HEARTS OF AMERICA WHEN IT

AIRED ON THE HISTORY CHANNEL

IT ALSO SCORED

BIG AT

THIS

YEAR'S MOVIE GUIDE AWARDS.

ROMA DOWNEY, CO-CREATOR OF

THE BIBLE PROJECT, WON THE

GRACE AWARD IN TELEVISION,

FOR BEST ACTRESS FOR HER

ROLE OF JESUS' MOTHER IN THE

SERIES.

I THINK THAT THE SUCCESS

OF THE BIBLE SERIES REALLY

GOT THE ATTENTION OF THE

NATION, AND CERTAINLY OF OUR

INDUSTRY.

100MILLION PEOPLE SHOWED

UP.

AND I THINK IT WAS REALLY

QUITE EXTRAORDINARY.

AND, UM, NOW WE'RE SEEING

LOTS OF OTHER FAITH FILMS

COMING DOWN THE PIPELINE.

SO I THINK THAT'S VERY

ENCOURAGING.

Reporter: WILLIE

ROBERTSON OF "DUCK DYNASTY"

FAME AGREES.

MOVIE GUIDE AWARDED THE HIT

REALITY SHOW WITH THE FAITH

AND FREEDOM AWARD FOR TV.

I THINK WE SEE IT.

I THINK WE SEE IT IN OUR

NUMBERS.

WE WERE TALKING ABOUT THE

BIBLE AND BETWEEN THAT,

THERE WAS A WHOLE LOT OF

PEOPLE THAT TUNED IN.

HOPEFULLY WE SEE THAT

CATCHING ON AND WE SEE MORE

AND MORE THINGS POSITIVE

COMING OUT.

Reporter: ACTRESS HOLLY

ROBINSON PETE SAYS DEMAND

FOR WHOLESOME MOVIES ARE SO

IMPORTANT.

I'M NOT SURE WHY

HOLLYWOOD IS NOT GETTING THE

MESSAGE THAT WE SOMETHING

EVERY FRIDAY, WHEN MOVIES

OPEN UP, SOMETHING WE CAN

ALL GO SEE AS A FAMILY

TOGETHER.

Reporter: JOHNNIE

ERICKSON APPEARED AT THE

AWARDS AND PERFORMED THE

SONG "ALONE YET NOT ALONE."

AND WHILE HOLLYWOOD GIVES

ITSELF A PAT ON THE BACK AT

THIS YEAR'S OSCARS, THE
