The Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos delighted football fans around the world during Super Bowl 50, but for many involved, this game is only a fleeting moment in a life destined for greater purpose. Read Transcript

Hello, and welcome to Levi stadium, here in Santa Clara,

for CBN's coverage of Super Bowl 50,

where Peyton Manning has led the Broncos to their third Super

Bowl championship in franchise history,

and finally, his second.

We'll go down to the lockers for some player reaction,

but first, let's see how the Broncos pulled it off.

SHAWN BROWN (VOICEOVER): From the first quarter,

the game didn't go as most expected it to.

The Broncos set the tone with this sack-fumble touchdown,

caused by linebacker Von Miller, giving them a nice lead.

The Panthers didn't respond until the end

of the second quarter.

But for the rest of the evening, Denver's number one

ranked defense pounded the Panthers,

holding them to just one touchdown the entire game.

Denver struck again late in the fourth,

for a 24-10 lead, which was the final score.

And the Denver Broncos are Super Bowl champs.

They didn't do nothing different that we seen on film.

You know, it just-- you know, they

had a better day than we did.

I know a lot of people expect for us to go out and put up

45 points, 50 points, but we made the plays

at the right time when we needed to.

And that's what really matters at the end of the day.

We did what we needed to do.

And, uh, now we're sitting here world champs.

We prepare every week, you know.

You know what I'm saying?

So we didn't expect nothing else.

You know, we expected to be successful.

I think those guys average 28, 30 points.

Them boys had 10 points, so we feel like we got the job done.

It's been a magical night.

And, um, I'd like to say it, too.

This one was for Pat.

It's a great feeling.

It's a great sense of accomplishment for this team.

We've been through a lot this year.

This team's been unselfish, tough, resilient, and all

that was on display tonight.

I got a chance to talk to the team last night,

and I just kind of thanked them for letting

me be a part of the journey.

It's truly been a team effort, and it was a team win tonight.
