Caitlin: TODAY ON

"NEWSWATCH," TRUMP AND

CLINTON FIGHT TO PROVE WHO

IS BEST QUALIFIED TO BE

COMMANDER IN CHIEF.

SEE HOW ONE CANDIDATE IS

GAINING AN EDGE AMONG

MILITARY VOTERS.

> PLUS...CBN NEWS GOES

ONE-ON-ONE WITH ALBERTO

GONZALES.

> AND IT IS OUR NUMBER

ONE NATURAL RESOURCE, AND

ONE OF THE BIGGEST

INDUSTRIES IN WEST

VIRGINIA.

SO WHY DOES OUR GOVERNMENT

WANT TO PUT IT OUT OF

BUSINESS?

> THANKS FOR JOINING US

FOR CBN "NEWSWATCH."

I'M CAITLIN BURKE.

DONALD TRUMP SAYS HIS

RIVAL IS TOO UNSTABLE TO

BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT,

WHILE HILLARY CLINTON

BELIEVES HER OPPONENT

DOESN'T HAVE THE

TEMPERMENT TO LEAD ON THE

GLOBAL STAGE.

WITH TWO MONTHS UNTIL

ELECTION DAY, BOTH

CANDIDATES LAID OUT THEIR

VISIONS FOR WHO IS MOST

QUALIFIED TO BE AMERICA'S

COMMANDER IN CHIEF.

TRUMP RIGHT NOW HAS A

SIGNIFICANT EDGE AMONG

MILITARY AND VETERAN

VOTERS.

George: NATIONAL

SECURITY ISSUES ARE

DOMINATING ON THE CAMPAIGN

TRAIL THIS WEEK.

BOTH CANDIDATES TALKED

SEPARATELY WEDNESDAY NIGHT

IN A FORUM HOSTED BY NBC.

CLINTON WAS ASKED HOW

VOTERS COULD TRUST HER TO

BE COMMANDER IN CHIEF,

GIVEN ALL OF THE

CONTROVERSY OVER HER USE

OF A PRIVATE E-MAIL SERVER

FOR GOVERNMENT BUSINESS.

IT WAS A MISTAKE TO

HAVE A PERSONAL ACCOUNT.

I WOULD CERTAINLY NOT DO

IT AGAIN.

George: FOR HIS PART,

TRUMP WAS PRESSED FOR

SPECIFICS ON HIS PLAN TO

DEFEAT ISIS.

WHEN I DO COME UP WITH

A PLAN THAT I LIKE -- I

MAY LOVE WHAT THE GENERALS

COME BACK WITH --

YOU HAVE YOUR OWN PLAN?

I HAVE A PLAN.

George: TRUMP SAID IF

ELECTED, HE WOULD GIVE

MILITARY LEADERS 30 DAYS

TO PRESENT A BLUEPRINT FOR

DESTROYING THE ISLAMIC

STATE.

AND TRUMP ALSO PROPOSED A

MAJOR EXPANSION IN THE

NUMBER OF SHIPS, PLANES,

AND SERVICE MEMBERS IN THE

U.S. MILITARY.

WE WANT TO DETER,

AVOID, AND PREVENT

CONFLICT THROUGH OUR

UNQUESTIONED MILITARY

STRENGTH.

George: WITH 60 DAYS

UNTIL ELECTION DAY,

CLINTON IS TRYING TO PAINT

HER RIVAL AS ONE QUALIFIED

AND TEMPERAMENTALLY UNFIT

TO LEAD ON THE GLOBAL

STAGE.

AFTER ALL OF HIS TALK,

THE ONLY THING THAT IS

CLEAR IS THAT HE HAS NO

CLUE ABOUT WHAT HE IS

TALKING ABOUT.

George: TRUMP IS

PORTRAYING HIS DEMOCRATIC

OPPONENT AS TOO EAGER TO

GO TO WAR.

SOMETIMES IT SEEMED

LIKE THERE WAS A COUNTRY

IN THE MIDDLE EAST THAT

HILLARY CLINTON DIDN'T

WANT TO INVADE, INTERVENE

IN, OR TOPPLE.

SHE IS TRIGGER-HAPPY AND

VERY UNSTABLE.

George: TRUMP HAS TH

CLEAR ADVANTAGE WITH

CURRENT AND RETIRED

SERVICE MEMBERS.

AND NBC POLL SHOWS HIM

LEADING CLINTON AMONG THEM

BY 19 POINTS.

GEORGE THOMAS, CBN NEWS.

Caitlin: TENSIONS ARE

HIGH AFTER A RUSSIAN

FIGHTER JET INTERCEPTED A

U.S. NAVY AIRCRAFT ON

WEDNESDAY.

THE JET CAME WITHIN

10 FEET OF THE U.S. JET.

IT WAS CONDUCTING ROUTINE

OPERATIONS.

THE ACTIONS BY THE

RUSSIANS HAVE THE

POTENTIAL TO ESCALATE

TENSIONS.

THE U.S. HAS PROTESTED

PREVIOUS RUSSIAN

INTERCEPT, O OF WHICH THERE

HAVE BEEN SEVERAL THIS

YEAR.

A RUSSIAN SPOKE SPOKESWOMANED

SAID A MEETING WAS

CONFIRMED BY MAHMOUD ABBAS

AND BENJAMIN NETANYAHU.

IT IS NOT CLEAR WHEN ANY

SUCH MEETING WILL HAPPEN,

BUT RUSSIA CONTINUES TO

GAIN INFLUENCE IN THE

MIDDLE EAST AS THE OBAMA

ADMINISTRATION HAS

DECREASED U.S. LEADERSHIP

IN THE REGION.

> IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE,

BUT IT HAS BEEN NEARLY 15

YEARS SINCE AMERICA WAS

ATTACKED ON 9/11.

ONE OF THE PEOPLE CLOSEST

TO PRESIDENT GEORGE W.

BUSH WAS HIS CHIEF

COUNSEL, ALBERTO GONZALES.

HE RECENTLY SAT DOWN WITH

JENNIFER WISHON TO TALK

ABOUT THAT DAY.

Jennifer: IT WAS THE

EVENING OF 9/11, AND FOR

ALBERTO GONZALES, THE MOST

MEMORABLE MOMENT OF HIS

MANY YEARS OF PUBLIC

SERVICE.

WATCHING PRESIDENT BUSH

WALK FROM MARINE ONE AFTER

HE RETURNED TO THE WHITE

HOUSE FOR THE FIRST TIME

AFTER THE ATTACKS.

I WAS VERY, VERY

CURIOUS WHAT I WOULD SEE

IN HIS FACE.

HE KIND OF ACKNOWLEDGED US

AND WALKED STRAIGHT BY US

IN THE OVAL OFFICE, AND I

KNEW WE WERE GOING TO BE

OKAY.

HE WAS DETERMINED AND

READY TO GO, AND HE HAD A

JOB TO DO AND WE ALL HAD A

JOB TO DO IN PROTECTING

AMERICA.

Reporter: IN THE DAYS

THATFIELD, GONZALES AND

HIS TEAM FACED QUESTIONS

OVER THE PATRIOT ACT,

INTERROGATION TECHNIQUES,

AND PENDING WAR.

HE BELIEVES THAT THE

RELATIVE SECURITY THAT

AMERICA HAS ENJOYED SINCE

9/11 PROVES THE POLICIES

WORKED.

WE PUT INTO PLACE

FRAMEWORK WE HOPED WOULD

OUTLAST HIS PRESIDENCY.

WE FELT IT WAS THAT

IMPORTANT TO DO THAT.

Reporter: TODAY HE IS

DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF LAW

AT BELMONT UNIVERSITY BUT

STILL ENGAGED.

> IF YOU WERE

ATTORNEY-GENERAL TODAY,

HOW WOULD YOU HAVE HANDLED

THE HILLARY CLINTON E-MAIL

INVESTIGATION?

I WOULD EITHER HAVE

RECUSED MYSELF FROM

RECEIVING THE

RECOMMENDATION AS THE

F.B.I. DIRECTOR, OR I

WOULD HAVE REVIEWED

THOROUGHLY THE

RECOMMENDATION OF THE

F.B.I. DIRECTOR.

BECAUSE IN THE END, THIS

IS NOT ABOUT LORETTA

LYNCH.

THIS IS ABOUT JUSTICE AND

THE APPEARANCE OF JUSTICE.

AND ANYTHING THAT KIND OF

SHADES THAT, THAT HARMS

THAT, IN THE EYES OF THE

AMERICAN PEOPLE, IS NOT

GOOD.

Reporter: THE STORY

OF HOW HE ARRIVED IN

WASHINGTON IS UNLIKELY.

HIS MOTHER STILL LIVES IN

THE TWO-BEDROOM HOUSE HIS

FATHER BUILT FOR THEIR

FAMILY OF 10 IN HOW MANY

BELL, TEXAS.

IT IS WHERE HE LEARNED THE

VALUE OF FAMILY AND FAITH.

HE HAS WRITTEN ABOUT HIS

JOURNEY IN HIS NEW BOOK,

"TRUE FAITH AND

ALLEGIANCE," WHERE HE

ADDRESSES ALL OF THE

CONTROVERSIES HE HAS FACED

TO TRY TO CLEAR THE AIR.

THE REPUBLICAN SAYS HE

HASN'T MADE UP HIS MIND

ABOUT DONALD TRUMP.

WE HAVE TWO VERY FLAWED

CANDIDATES, IN MY

JUDGMENT, FOR PRESIDENT.

Reporter: BUT HE IS

CERTAIN ABOUT WHAT IS

IMPORTANT.

ONE OF THE THINGS THAT

IS VERY IMPORTANT IS TO

HAVE SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES

IN GOD IN THAT OFFICE.

SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES IN

THE POWER OF PRAYER.

BECAUSE THE DECISIONS ARE

MUCH BIGGER THAN ANY

PERSON.

Reporter: JENNIFER

WISHON, CBN NEWS,

WASHINGTON.

Caitlin: ADVOCATES

FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCH

ARE URGING U.S. CHRISTIANS

TO HELP THEIR FELLOW

BELIEVERS IN THE MIDDLE

EAST.

DOZENS OF THOSE ADVOCATES

GATHERED IN WASHINGTON TO

RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE

GENOCIDE.

ROBERT NI NICHOLSON SAID WE

ALL FEEL THE TEMPTATION TO

STAY OUT OF IT AND MIND

OUR OWN BUSINESS.

BUT MINDING OUR OWN

BUSINESS IS SIMPLY NOT AN

OPTION.

THEY SAY AMERICAN

CHRISTIANS CAN HELP BY

HOLDING PRAYER VIGILS AND

GIVING TO THE MIDEAST

CHURCHES AND REFUGEES.

> A WOMAN AND HER

DAUGHTER ARE FACING INCEST

CHARGES AFTER AUTHORITIES

LEARNED THE PAIR WERE

LEGALLY MARRIED IN

OKLAHOMA.

PATRICIA SPAN AND HER

25-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER WERE

MARRIED IN LATE MARCH.

THEY LIVED AS A COUPLE FOR

SIX MONTHS BEFORE

AUTHORITIES FOUND OUT.

THE MOTHER SAID SHE

RECENTLY LOST CUSTODY OF

HER THREE CHILDREN BUT

REUNITED WITH HER DAUGHTER

THE MOTHER HAD ALSO

MARRIED HER SON A FEW

YEARS EARLIER, BUT HE

LATER FILED AN ANNULMENT.

> COMING UP, PRESIDENT

OBAMA IS BANKRUPTING

AMERICA'S COAL INDUSTRY.

HERE THE HEARTBREAKING

TRUTH FROM COAL COUNTRY

ABOUT FAMILIES NOW

STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE.

Caitlin: JOBS ARE ONE

OF THE BIGGEST ISSUE IN

THIS ELECTION YEAR.

ANIN ONE STATE WHERE IT IS

CRITICALLY IMPORTANT IS

WEST VIRGINIA, WHERE

THOUSANDS OF COAL MINERS

ARE OUT OF WORK.

THEY SAY THAT'S BECAUSE

THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION

HAS VIRTUALLY DECLARED WAR

ON THEIR INDUSTRY.

CHUCK HOLTON HAS MORE.

Reporter: THE U.S.

COAL INDUSTRY IS IN A

FIGHT FOR ITS VERY

SURVIVAL.

JOB LOSSES HAVE

ACCELERATED IN WEST

VIRGINIA, WITH MORE THAN

6500 MINERS BICALLY OUT

OF WORK.

President Obama: I'M

DIRECTING THE

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

AGENCY TO PUT AN END TO

THE LIMITLESS DUMPING FROM

OUR POWER PLANTS, AND

COMPLETE NEW STANDARDS FOR

NEW AND EXISTING POWER

PLANTS.

Reporter: JOHN

O'NEILL IS THE MAJORITY

WHIP IN THE WEST VIRGINIA

HOUSE OF DELEGATES.

THE WAR ON THE WEST

VIRGINIA JOBS AND COAL

INDUSTRY IS SO BAD AT THE

TIME THAT THIS

ADMINISTRATION TOOK

OFFICE, THERE WERE

HUNDREDS OF COAL MINERS

PRODUCING, AND NOW ONLY 30

MONTHS AG30SOMETHING COAL MINERS ARE

PRODUCING COAL.

IT HAS BEEN DEVASTATING TO

OUR STATE.

Reporter: DUG EPLING

OWNS THREE COAL MINING

VENTURES.

COAL MINING IS THE

WORST SINCE I HAVE BEEN IN

BUSINESS.

Reporter: AT ONE TIME

HE HAD MORE THAN 600

EMPLOYEES.

AT OUR PEAK, WE WERE

PROBABLY PRODUCING 2.5,

3 MILLION TONS A YEAR.

WE HAVE LAID OFF EVERYONE,

BUT THE OFFICE STAFF.

Reporter: AND THOSE

LAYOFFS HAVE A HUGE RIPPLE

EFFECT THROUGHOUT THE

STATE.

FOR EVERY COAL MINING

JOB, YOU'RE LOOKING AT

FIVE TO 10 SUPPORTING JOBS

OUTSIDE OF THAT.

Reporter: IT IS

ESTIMATED THE TOLD JOB

LOSSES HERE AMOUNT TO

36,000 JOBS, AND

$1.5 BILLION IN REVENUE

LOST ACCORDING TO THE WEST

VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION.

THE COUNTIES DEPEND ON

IT, THE CITIES DEPEND ON

IT, AND THE STATE DEPENDS

ON IT.

THE MAJORITY OF THE BUDGET

IS BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT

BEEN ABLE TO SELL THE COAL

THAT WE MINE AND THE GAS

THAT WE PRODUCE.

WE'VE GOT AN ECONOMY

THAT IS INTIMATELY

CONNECTED WITH THE ENERGY

EXTRACTION INDUSTRY.

IT IS OUR NATURAL

RESOURCE.

OBVIOUSLY, AS ELECTED

OFFICIALS, WE'VE GOT TO

FIGHT FOR ALL WE'RE WORTH

TO PROTECT THE INDUSTRY

THAT IS THE BACKBONE OF

OUR STATE.

IT IS OUR NUMBER ONE

NATURAL RESOURCE.

THE SHAME OF IT IS WEST

VIRGINIA HAS THE BEST COAL

MINERS IN THE WORLD, AND

WE CLEARLY KNOW HOW TO

MAKE STEEL AND

ELECTRICITY.

Reporter: RAINY

BELIEVES THAT THE PROBLEM

WAS CAUSED INTENTIONALLY

BY THE CURRENT

ADMINISTRATION.

THIS GUY SAID HE WAS

GOING TO BANKRUPT THE COAL

INDUSTRY WHEN HE WAS

RUNNING, AND HE ABSOLUTELY

HAS.

HE HAS NEVER BEEN HERE TO

TALK TO THE COAL MINING

FAMILIES AND SEE WHAT

DEVASTATION IT HAS

BROUGHT.

Reporter: THEY HAVE

BEEN TAKING COAL OUT OF

THESE MOUNTAINS 100 YEARS

BEFORE WEST VIRGINIA WAS

EVEN A STATE.

AND TODAY, THEY STILL

EXPORT MORE COAL THAN ANY

OTHER STATE IN THE UNION,

BUT THAT IS CHANGING FAST.

BUT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE

BEING AFFECTED BY THESE

CHANGES ARE THE MINERS

THEMSELVES.

I'M 47 YEARS OLD AND

HAVE GOT ALL OF THIS TIME

IN, AND NOW I'VE GOT TO

MAKE A CAREER CHANGE.

Reporter: CHRIS

MARTIN WORKED IN THE MINES

FOR 25 YEARS.

BOTH MY GRANDFATHERS

WERE COAL MINERS, MY DAD

WAS A COAL MINER AND MY

BROTHER WAS A COAL MINER.

Reporter: SIX MONTHS

AGO, THAT LEGACY CAME TO

AN END.

I TOOK ABOUT A $60,000

PAY CUT TO DO WHAT I'M

DOING NOW, VERSES WHEN I

WAS WORKING IN THE MINE.

MY DAUGHTER STARTS COLLEGE

THIS YEAR, AND I DON'T

EVEN KNOW IF I'M GOING TO

BE ABLE TO SEND HER.

I MEAN, IT HAS TOOK A

TOLL.

I'VE COME CLOSE TO LOSING

MY HOME.

WHEN YOU SEE MEN, YOU

TALK TO THEM AND YOU SEE

THEM CRY BECAUSE THEY

CAN'T DO FOR THEIR FAMILY,

THAT'S JUST SO WRONG.

AND WE'VE GOT THIS BUNCH

YOU IN WASHINGTON THAT

DOESN'T DO ANYTHING BUT

LIP SERVICE.

Reporter: RESENTMENT

IS RUNNING HIGH, AND IT

HAS LED TO A SHIFT IN THE

POLITICAL LEANINGS IN THE

STATE.

WEST VIRGINIA USED TO

BE TWO AND A HALF TO ONE

DEMOCRATIC.

AND NOW IT IS GOING ALL

REPUBLICAN.

AT THE TIME BILL

CLINTON WAS PRESIDENT, 75%

WERE REGISTERED DEMOCRATS.

TODAY THAT NUMBER IS 48%.

Reporter: THESE COAL

MINERS HOPE THE NEW

ADMINISTRATION WILL SEE

COAL AS A POWERHOUSE.

EVERYBODY NEEDS TO

VISIT THEIR FURNACE ROOM

TO FIND OUT HOW IMPORTANT

IT IS TO THE REST OF THE

COUNTRY.

Reporter: CHUCK

HOLTON, CBN NEWS, WEST

VIRGINIA.

Caitlin: UP NEXT, THE

PAKISTAN MOTHER WHO FACES

DEATH BY HANGING, ACCUSED

OF BLASPHEMY AGAINST

MUHAMMAD.

THE FATE OF ASIA BIBI AND

HER FAMILY IS UP NEXT.

Caitlin: A CONVERT TO

Caitlin: A CONVERT TO

CHRISTIANITY IN ALGERIA

HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO

THREE YEARS IN PRISON FOR

INSULTING THE PROPHET OF

ISLAM.

THE 49-YEAR-OLD MAN'S

LAWYER SAID HE DENOUNCED

POLITICAL ISLAM, BUT NOT

THE RELIGION ITSELF OR ITS

PROPHET IN A Facebook

DISCUSSION WITH

NON-ALGERIAN CHRISTIANS.

THEY DENOUNCED THE

VERDICT.

ALGERIA IS 99% MUSLIM.

> NEXT MONTH ASIA BIBI

WILL FIGHT FOR HER FREEDOM

IN A PAKISTANI COURT.

SHE HAS BEEN IN PRISON

THERE FOR SEVEN LONG

YEARS, CHARGED WITH

BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE

ISLAMIC PROPHET MUHAMMAD.

EVEN IN PRISON, BIBI FEELS

HER LIFE COULD BE IN

DANGER.

IN THIS EXCLUSIVE AMERICAN

TV INTERVIEW, GARY LANE

TALKED TO HER FAMILY ABOUT

THEIR ORDEAL AND HOW

THEY'RE DEPENDING ON THEIR

FAITH IN GOD.

Reporter: IT HAS BEEN

MORE THAN 2,500 DAYS SINCE

ISHAN BIBI OR HER SISTER

HAVE COOKED A MEAL WITH

THEIR MOTHER ASIA.

I HAVE STRONG FAITH,

AND I BELIEVE THAT MY

MOTHER WILL BE OUT OF JAIL

SOON.

Reporter: WE FIRST

MET THE SISTERS AND THEIR

FATHER IN 2011, AS THEY

PLAYED A POPULAR PAKISTANI

BOARD GAME.

AS THEY ATTEMPTED TO CARRY

ON LIFE, WIFE AND MOTHER,

ASIA BIBI, SAT ALONE IN

HER PRISON CELL.

SHE FACED DEATH BY

HANGING, CHARGED WITH

BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE

PROPHET MUHAMMAD.

LITTLE DID THEY REALIZE IN

2016, THEY WOULD STILL BE

WAITING FOR A FAMILY

REUNION.

HE TOLD ME WHILE THE SEVEN

YEARS HAVE BEEN DIFFICULT,

HE HAS FAITH HIS WIFE WILL

BE RELEASED.

I STILL BELIEVE SHE

WILL BE RELEASED SOON.

Reporter: THERE ARE

PETITIONS LIKE THIS ONE

SIGNED FROM NEARLY 7,000

PEOPLE FROM AROUND THE

WORLD.

STILL, ASIA REMAINS

INCARCERATED, AND HER

HUSBAND FEARS FOR HER

LIFE.

SHE IS IN DANGER

BECAUSE MANY ISLAMIC

ORGANIZATIONS AND CLERICS

ARE STILL DEMANDING SHE BE

HANGED.

Reporter: REFINED TO

A SMALL PRISON CELL, ASIA

BIBI COOKS HER OWN MEALS

OUT OF FEAR THEY WILL

POISON HER.

AND SHE CLEANS HER OWN

CELL, TO LIMIT THE DIRECT

CONNECTIONS WITH THE

HOTEL.

THEY VISIT THEIR MOTHER,

BUT THEY CANNOT HUG OR

EVEN TOUCH THEIR MOTHER.

TWO MONTHS AGO, WHEN WE

SAW HER, SHE WAS HEALTHY.

SHE TOLD US WE MUST PRAY,

AND ANY TOLD HER SHE MUST

PRAY AS WELL.

Reporter: THEY WERE

FORCED TO CHANGE THEIR

HOUSING, AND THAT MAKES IT

DIFFICULT FOR THE GIRLS TO

SOCIALIZE AND MAINTAIN

LASTING RELATIONSHIPS.

IT IS VERY HARD TO MOVE

FROM PLACE TO PLACE.

IT HAS A VERY BAD EFFECT

ON OUR LIVES.

Reporter: SO FAR

ATTEMPTS TO WIN ASIA'S

RELEASE HAS BEEN THWARTED.

THE NATION'S HIGHEST COURT

QUESTIONED THE EVIDENCE

AGAINST HER AND OVERTURNED

HER DEATH SENTENCE.

THE COURT ORDERED

REINVESTIGATION, BUT

FURTHER ACTION HAS BEEN

DELAYED.

THAT'S BECAUSE OF THE

ARREST AND HANGING DEATH

OF MONGTAG RADI.

HE CALLED FOR PAKISTAN'S

BLASPHEMY LAW TO BE

ABOLISHED AFTER VISITING

ASIA IN PRISON.

THE GOVERNMENT FINDED

EXECUTED HIM UNDER THE

ANTITERRORISM LAWS.

THERE WERE PROTESTS

ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

THERE WAS A MASS CAMP

OUTSIDE GOVERNMENT

BUILDINGS IN ISLAMABAD,

WHERE PEOPLE REFUSED TO

MOVE UNTIL THE GOVERNMENT

CHANGED ALL OF THE

BLASPHEMY LAWS IN

PAKISTAN, AND THEY CALLED

FOR THE IMMEDIATE KILLING

OF ASIA BIBI UNDER HER

DEATH SENTENCE.

Reporter: HE SAYS IT

IS VERY EASY TO KILL

SOMEBODY OF BLASPHEMY

HERE, AND CASES HAVE

INCREASED EVERY YEAR SINCE

9/11.

IN PAKISTAN, THERE IS

NO JUSTICE.

BECAUSE THE COURT IS VERY

BIAS.

Reporter: EITHER BIAS

AGAINST THE COUNTRY'S TINY

CHRISTIAN MINORITY, OR

INTIMIDATED BY EXTREMISTS,

SAYS CHADRY.

WHAT CHURCH IS GOING TO

BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO SAY YOU

GO FREE, KNOWING IT WILL

BE A DEATH SENTENCE FOR

HIM.

ALL PAKISTANI

GOVERNMENTS, PREVIOUS AND

PRESENT -- THIS IS NOT

POSSIBLE WITH THE

GOVERNMENT.

BECAUSE MAYBE IN SOME

GOVERNMENT COMING NEXT...

Reporter: IN THE

MEANTIME, MORE CHRISTIANS

WILL FACE FALSE

ACCUSATIONS OF BLASPHEMY.

AND MORE DAUGHTERS LIKE

ISHA AND ISHAM WILL GROW

UP WITHOUT THEIR MOTHER'S

LOVING EMBRACE.

I AM ALWAYS PRAYING

THAT GOD WILL RELEASE MY

MOTHER FROM JAIL SO WE CAN

BE REUNITED.

AMERICAN YOUNG PEOPLE,

PLEASE KEEP PRAYING FOR

ME, MY FAMILY, AND MY

MOTHER.

Reporter: GARY LANE,

CBN NEWS, LAHORE,

PAKISTAN.

Kate: THE WORLD OF

FAITH-BASED FILMS

CONTINUES TO GROW.

A NEW ROMANTIC COMEDY

STARS SOME FAMILIAR NAMES,

LIKE COR BUENO COR BUENOS CORBIN BERNSTEIN AND

MARILU HENNER.

IT IS THE FIRST FOR THE

FILM SCHOOL AT REGENT

UNIVERSITY.

Efrem: LIGHTS,

CAMERA, ACTION.

COMING TO A SCREEN NEAR

YOU IS A ROMANTIC COMEDY,

STARRING MARILU HENNER,

CHELSEA CRISP, AND CORBIN

BERNSTEIN.

I WAS THE INSTIGATOR,

THE PRODUCER, AND I PLAYED

A SMALL ROLE IN IT.

Efrem: THIS WAS A

PASSION PROJECT FOR

BERNSTEIN, AND HE

PARTNERED WITH REGENT

UNIVERSITY'S FILM SCHOOL

TO BRING "UNLAWFULLY

YOURS" TO LIFE.

> WHAT WAS IT ABOUT THIS

PROJECT THAT MADE YOU WANT

TO GET INVOLVED?

I'VE BEEN VERY BLESSED

TO HAVE A WONDERFUL

CAREER.

BUT ONE OF THE THINGS I

FIND, AND I TAKE GREAT

PLEASURE IN, IS SHARING

WHAT WE DO WITH PEOPLE WHO

WANT TO DO WHAT WE DO,

MAKE MOVIES.

WHAT REALLY DREW ME TO THE

PROJECT WAS CREATING

SOMETHING WHERE STUDENTS

COULD TRULY GET INVOLVED,

AND I COULD, ON A VERY

PERSONAL LEVEL, HAVE THIS

RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS

ENTITY, REGENT UNIVERSITY,

TO SEE IF WE COULD PULL IT

OFF AND MAKE A MOVIE.

Efrem: THEY MORE THAN

PULLED IT OFF.

REGENT STUDENTS WORKED

ALONGSIDE HOLLYWOOD

HEAVYWEIGHTS TO SHOOT THE

FILM IN VIRGINIA.

AND A REGENT FILM

PROFESSOR WROTE THE

SCRIPT.

YOU LEAVE LOS ANGELES

AND GO SOMEWHERE NEW, AND

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS

GOING TO BE LIKE.

IT WAS VERY EXCITING TO GO

TO VIRGINIA BEACH AND HAVE

SO MANY STUDENTS ONSET

BECAUSE THERE WAS THIS JOY

AND EXCITEMENT IN FILMING

THE MOVIE.

Efrem: YOU MAY

RECOGNIZE CHELSEA CRISP

FROM "FRESH OFF THE BOAT."

SHE PLAYS THE LEADING

ROLE, JESSE, IN

"UNLAWFULLY YOURS."

SOMETIMES YOU GET

SOMETHING WHERE THE REL

JUSROLEJUST SPEAKS TO YOU, AND

YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT DO

DO.

AND IT IS LIKE PUTTING ON

A PAIR OF COMFORTABLE

JEANS.

Efrem: THERE WAS A

PRIVATE SCREENING OF THE

FILM IN DALLAS.

YOU FEEL GOOD WALKING

OUT OF THE THEATER, HAVING

JUST SEEN IT.

Efrem: MITCH LAND IS

THE DEAN OF THE SCHOOL,

AND HE HAS SEEN HIS

STUDENTS EARN MORE THAN

400 AWARDS, INCLUDING TWO

STUDENT ACADEMY AWARDS.

BUT THIS IS THE SCHOOL'S

FIRST FEATURE FILM.

THE LORD NOT ONLY JUST

PUT IT ON OUR HEARTS, BUT

HE PUT IT ON

DR. ROBERTSON'S HEART AT

THE SAME TIME.

THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN

WITHOUT DR. ROBERTSON'S

APPROVAL AND SUPPORT.

SO THIS REALLY IS A

TRIBUTE TO VISION.

ONE THING THAT

DR. ROBERTSON SAID THAT

INSPIRED ME SO MUCH, HE

SAID, MITCH, DON'T YOU

THINK THE CURRICULUM OUGHT

TO BE CONNECTED TO MOVIE

PROJECTS?

IT JUST SOUNDED LIKE MUSIC

TO MY EARS.

YES!

Efrem: EFREM GRAHAM,

CBN NEWS.
