Is it too late to be forgiven for the 500th time? Will people who have unattractive bodies become skinny in heaven, so they won't be miserable with body shaming? When does the final Jubilee take place in the Bible, and how long does it last? ... ... Read Transcript

We've got a few questions on Bring It On.

So I guess we just get on into that right now.

Here's one from Lincoln, Pat.

He says, "Dear Pat, I struggle with lust.

Although, I felt I had overcome this,

I've slipped back hundreds of times.

I know if I keep sinning I'll go to hell.

Is it too late to be forgiven for the 500 time.

Never before the Lord is it too late to heal a sin.

Look, God made you this way.

I mean, he made you with sexual desire.

He made you with appetites for food and drink.

Trouble is those appetites get out of control.

And the thing of it is the Bible says,

how will a young man cleanse his way by taking heed there to

according to thy word.

You need to saturate your mind and soul with the word of God.

As long as you feed the beast it will keep on eating you.

And the other thing, the apostle Paul said to the young men

is, it is better to marry than to burn with lust.

So there's nothing wrong with getting married.

And then that's a natural outlet for the sexual desires

you have in somebody you love a great deal.

That's that, but no, you're not going to hell because of this.

Because God is going to forgive you,

and you're going to ask for forgiveness,

and you're going to do everything you can in his power

to be free of this.

All right?

This is Jerry who says, will people

who have unattractive bodies become skinny in Heaven

so they won't be miserable with body shaming?

PAT: (LAUGHING) Can you imagine all the angels? "Look at him,

he's fat."

You're going to be like the angels.

You'll have Resurrection bodies.

Everybody is going to be beautiful in Heaven.

All right, one more.

Jacqueline says, when does the final jubilee

take place in the Bible, and how long does it last?

Well, I don't know if there is a final jubilee

that I'm familiar with.

The jubilee is the forgiving of debts.

And you know, every 50 years they, um, you know,

blew the trumpet and they proclaimed liberty

throughout the land.

It's on the Liberty Bell.

That was for the jubilee.

Every 50-- I don't know of any final the Bible talks about,

but maybe I'm missing something that I'm not aware of.

All right?

Got a quick one for you.

Can the electoral college overturn the election results

in December?

It can, but if it did I think the participants

would be lynched.

They haven't.

They abide by the vote of the people.

And if they tried to play games with the electoral college

I think they would be lynched.

And then if it goes in, you know,

the House of Representatives, where the Republicans are

in control, you still have the same result.

So just keep that in mind.

We leave me with today's Power Minute from Psalm, what is it?

TERRY: 103.

PAT: 103.

All right, "I bless the Lord, O, my soul, and forget not all

his benefits: who forgives all your iniquities

and heals all your diseases."
