(bright music)

- Welcome back to the 700 Club.

It's time for your questions

and some honest answers from Pat.

We'll start with this one from Carole.

She says, "How does a word of knowledge

"or word of wisdom come to you?"

Pat?

- Well, if you read the 12thchapter of 1 Corinthians,

you find that thereare certain enablements

of the Holy Spirit.

We've used the term gifts,we've heard the term charismata.

One has to do with prophecy

and the other speaking in tongues,

interpretation of tongues,

and one is a word of wisdom,

which has to do withessentially the future.

And a word of knowledge, which has to do with something

that is not available to the senses,

but is spoken by the Holy Spirit.

And it's just that simple.

And the more that you usethese gifts of the Spirit,

the more easy it becomes andthe more natural it becomes

just like healing, it's so natural.

And the same thing withthe word of knowledge.

How does it come?

It just comes to your mindand your inner spirit.

It's part of the Holy Spirit.

That does it, okay?

- Amen.

Lillian says, "If Ican't pay the full tithe

"because of my bills, isthat offensive to God?

"I feel guilty when I can'ttithe as much as I want to,

"but I also feel like I'm stealing

"from medical bill collectorswhen I can't pay them,

"because I gave it to God.

"I'm a little older and don'thave as much as I used to."

- I don't know what to do,

except you need some kindof a financial thing.

Make a budget.

Set up a budget foryourself and work in there,

and put at the top of thatbudget, 10% to the Lord's service

and if you do that, he willmake the rest of it work better,

but what you're doing is you're saying,

well I've got to pay these other bills

and then at the end, maybe I'll take a tithe.

So you haven't got your financials right,

but make a budget and with the budget,

put at the top of the list

what you're gonna give to the Lord,

and then watch whathappens from there on out.

You'll be amazed how Godwill cause the rest of it

to prosper.

And you'll have enough tostretch over what your needs are.

And then of course, with the budgets,

you also don't overspend.

If you have control ofwhat you're spending,

then keep that within, I mean,

your expenditures shouldbe less than your income.

If it's the other way around,

if your income is lessthan your expenditures,

you're in trouble all the time,

and that has nothing todo with tithing, okay?

- I tell that to everybody.

That 10% makes that 90% go twice as far.

- Amen!

- I mean, sometimes yourmilk won't even go sour.

I'm telling you.(Pat laughs)

- I can't promise that.

- I've seen that happen,I've seen it happen!

- That's a benefit I'm not aware of,

but I'm all for it (laughs).

- Alright well...

Mary says, "My husband Iwatch a YouTube channel

"with videos of RV trips andparks that are interesting,

"but they are posted by a man

"that has said he is an atheist.

"Is it a sin for us to watch his videos?"

- Of course not.

You know...

Apostle Paul said thatif you don't deal with

people who are kidnappersand robbers and so forth,

you need to go out of the world.

He said if somebodyclaims to be a Christian

and they're doing these terrible things,

then don't even eat with them.

But at the same time, wehave to deal with people

in this world that areatheists, who are homosexuals,

who do all these other things.

Otherwise, you have to leave the world.

That's what Jesus says.

So there's no sin in watchinga thing that you enjoy

is a travel log produced by an atheist.

There's nothing wrong with that.

I mean, you hope he'll find the Lord,

but that's something else.

- Here's one from, says a viewer,

"What is the glory of the lord?

"Substance, experience or weight?"

- Well, the Shekinah is the aura

that surrounds the holiness of God,

and I don't know what to say, I mean,

part of it, the whole conceptis a weight coming down.

The whole thing is a glory,

but I haven't got time to goin any more detail (laughs),

but it was the glory of the Lord

that entered into the temple.

For example, when the priest went in,

the glory of the Lord was such,

they could hardly stand and minister.
