DO YOU THINK IT IS WRONG TO EXCLUDE OUR YOUNGER SON AND HIS FAMILY FROM OUR WILL? PAT, WOULD YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHAT POWER THE HOUSE HAS WITHOUT SUPPORT OF CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT.
- Welcome back to The 700 Club,
it's time for your questionsand some honest answers.
We're gonna start with Debbie.
She writes, we're partnersand call for prayer.
Our two sons have not spokento each other for 12 years.
Our youngest son does notlet us see his children
and he says that we are toxic.
We are leaving for Israel andwanna have our will in order.
Do you think it is wrongto exclude our younger son
and his family from our will?
He despises us.
We thought we would givehalf to our older son
and the rest to ministries.
We love our younger son and family,
but there is no sign of repentance.
We have fasted andprayed and we love them,
but he hates us and his brother.
We leave in one week and we're crying out
to God for his guidance and wisdom.
What are your thoughts?
- There's no reason you should give money
to a son that's so prodigal.
You remember the prodigal took his share
of the inheritance andone of them wasted in
riotous living and he.
So but the father was alwayswilling to take him back
and I think you need to,but I cannot understand
what went on in your homethat turned those children
that far away.
You know, when our littlekids were that way,
we loved them, we kissedthem, we sang with them,
and we sang Biblestories and all the rest.
I don't understand what happened,
but the question is, isthere something wrong
that you don't have to leavean inheritance to a wayward
child, the answer is there's no reason
you should reward them with a lot of money
if they're acting that way.
Absolutely not, okay.
- It makes you wonder though,
if they're so religious and so rigid
that they've turnedtheir children on them.
- That may be it, I mean,I cannot understand it.
Unless you've done something terrible.
I mean you didn't tell meabout what kind of behavior
you had that disagreeing those children.
But if children grew up in love and mercy
and in the knowledge andadmonition of the Lord,
when they're old theywon't depart their from.
That's what we found, and Icannot understand what happened,
but the answer is youdon't have to reward them
with a lot of money because
they're acting that way, all right.
- Okay, Rhonda says when youtalked about essential oils
a few weeks ago, Pat saidhe put a drop of something
in water, was it nutmeg?
- It's called oil of oregano.
You can get it at, Iguess Walgreens or CVC.
- [Woman] Vitamin store.
- One of those places.
It's a little bottle andyou take about eight drops
of it, put it in eight,10 ounce glass of water,
and it'll kill every intestinal bad thing
that's in your gut, you'll just be so happy.
I mean, like that, it's an amazing.
- The oil of oregano.
- Oil of oregano.
- Not nutmeg, nutmeg you put on your--
- No, no, put that onyour turkey or something.
- No, you put nutmeg on your, what is it, your egg nog.
Your egg nog, yeah, anyway.
- I used To drink a lot ofit, but I don't drink egg nog.
You can have non-alcoholic egg nog.
- Well yeah, of course.
Okay Charles says, Patwould you please explain
exactly what the power, what power the House has
without support ofCongress and the president.
- Well it really hasno power, but according
to the Constitution, thespending bills and tax bills
are supposed to originate in the House,
but they've got to beconfirmed by the Senate
and they have to be signedinto law by the president.
So the truth is, all they can do right now
is make a lot of noiseand that's what they are
preparing to do, they'resalivating with the thought
that they'll have onehearing after another
to embarrass the president.
But all they can do isjust give him a hard time.
And in terms of impeachment,it starts in the House.
They issue a bill of impeachment,
but it has to be, the Senateis the arbitrator on it
and the Senate doesn't vote it,
then the guy doesn't get impeached.
But that's what their power is.
But it's the power of thepurse starts with the House.
