CBN.com The village Rani Mazara has a population of nearly 3,000 people. Most of the villagers own small pieces of land, but many still struggle financially, like Karnail and her family.

Fifty-year-old Karnail has a serious health problem, but she has been afraid to tell her family about it because they already have enough problems. Her husband works on a small piece of land.  His job provides just enough money to feed their children.

“I didn’t want to tell my husband,” Karnail said. “He would have taken me to a hospital, and we would have had to spend a lot of money, which we do not have… I didn’t want to trouble my family. I just chose to suffer in silence. Sometimes it was unbearable…”

When Karnail heard about Operation Blessing’s medical camp, she was not sure if she would get the relief she needed.  When the camp began she was very hesitant about it, but she registered anyway and waited to see the doctor.

Karnail spoke about her illness and explained her symptoms. The doctor checked her blood pressure and said that she was suffering from hypertension. The doctor gave her valuable advice about how she should take care of her health. She was given free medicine.

Everyone was very grateful for the free medical treatment. More than 270 patients were treated that day.
