Thailand CBN Siam Moves into New Home
CBN.com – On May 25, 2009, CBN Siam celebrated their tenth anniversary in a beautiful new facility just operational in April. God has provided a beautiful two acre property with a view of the nearby mountain range that is located about 12 miles north of the city of Chiangmai, in the Doi Saket District. This also marks the second decade of CBN outreach ministry in Thailand, so it’s been awe inspiring to see how God has blessed this effort over the years and is allowing them expanded opportunities to serve the Lord and the people of that lovely nation.
It was a God-sized task to get this location and building. CBN Siam had been looking for years for a good location. Once it was found, there were 12 long months of negotiations and over three months of renovating. The main building was designed for a Chinese vitamin company, but had been unoccupied for several years. The 2200 square meter building now houses CBN Siam’s offices and an 18 x 18 meter studio for broadcasting the good news!
The spacious and well-built facility is more than enough for the current staff of 70 and allows them plenty of room for growth. And to top it off, the long term rental rate is significantly less than they had been paying in-town.
