MEDICAL SERVICES
The Right Diagnosis
CBN.com Operation Blessing recently held a medical outreach in the Zhaden village, part of the Rivne region of Ukraine.
For two days Operation Blessing doctors examined 504 people and diagnosed 164 diseases. And while there, 30 patients prayed for salvation and 70 said they were open to hear the Word of God!
One patient, Frosya Paseka, was diagnosed with Type II diabetes. She didn’t know anything about the disease, had never applied for help nor had received treatment.
“I didn’t apply for any medical aid because I’m a very old person,” Frosya said. “I often feel dizzy, but the trip to the clinic is just too long for me. My daughter works long hours and is not able to take me to the hospital either.”
The OB doctor filled her prescription for free. Frosya was also encouraged to visit an endocrinologist.
Frosya said, “It was my daughter who told me to come to your mission…I am so glad that she persuaded me to do so!”
Ivan Chugunevich came to the OB doctors complaining of a persistent, strong cough. His mother brought him to the outreach thinking that he had light bronchitis. But after examination Ivan was diagnosed with pneumonia. He was given medicine to help him regain his health.
Ivan’s mother said she appreciated the doctors’ kindness and was thankful to the doctors for the right diagnosis.
