Hong Kong CBN was established in 2004, and has grown into an office of 15 employees who are responsible for TV production, counseling, administration, and humanitarian work through Operation Blessing. CBN has its own TV studio and production facilities where we produce our weekly magazine show program, Hong Kong 700 Club. This show is seen in Hong Kong, Macau and the Chinese province adjacent to Hong Kong (Guangdong). The potential audience is about 50 million people (7 million in Hong Kong and 40 plus million in Guangdong).
The office also oversees small projects in China for Operation Blessing. These include an educational project in Guangxi province in China, helping poor children attend school. There are several new projects in Guizhou province: bringing electricity to a desperately poor village, providing clean water to two villages, and supporting secondary students so they can stay in school.
