The Pain Went Away

CBN.com – Many parents struggle to keep the negative effects of the media from damaging their children. But, for the Kidenko family, their television became a gateway for God's blessing.
The Kidenko family of Ukraine loves music. Nadeshda teaches piano to her younger daughter Polina, and she is on the worship team at their church with her older daughter Lena.
Yet chronic health problems had long disrupted the harmony of this musically gifted family.
Ever since she was a little girl, Lena has suffered with severe skin rashes.
“My hands up to my elbows ached and itched,” Lena explained. “I even could not sleep because of the pain. I would hide my arms under a pillow so that I would not scratch them until they bled.”
“We tried different medicines to help our daughter, but nothing worked,” her father said.
Early one morning, while her daughters slept, Nadeshda watched The 700 Club.
“There was a word of God for me. Terry was praying for sick people and she said, ‘the daughter of a woman watching this program is being healed,’” Nadeshda remembered. “‘God is healing her blood. Your daughter will bloom like a flower ... completely healed.’”
“That’s when I realized that Lena’s skin condition was an allergic reaction to something in her blood – and her blood was cleansed!”
Then, Terry had another word.
“‘She said, “I am again praying for the same woman. God is healing your other girl who is suffering from a nervous disorder,’” Nadeshda said.
Nine-year-old Polina was diagnosed with a sometimes violent nervous condition. It developed into repeated nervous breakdowns.
“She couldn't sleep or eat enough. She would suddenly start crying,” her father said.
“I was thinking I would smash everything into pieces,” Polina explained. “I thought it was Satan who attacked me and spoiled my life.”
In faith, Nadeshda immediately prayed over her sleeping daughters and thanked the Lord for their miraculous healings.
“I said, ‘Lord, you are a great God!’”
“Within three days, my pain went away,” Lena reported. “In three more days, all the sores on my hands disappeared and my skin got clean and smooth.”
“At work she uses detergents and dyes and praise God her hands remain completely healed,” Nadeshda said.
“I am thankful to the people who support The 700 Club. Now, my hands are smooth and normal. Thanks for your prayers,” Lena said.
“I just started living a happy life,” Polina declared. “Now I love everybody.”
