No Longer a Staple

“After six amazing years, Staple has decided to make this our last summer as a band.”

The announcement came via the band’s MySpace. After much speculation, the Flicker Records hardcore band will call it quits after a farewell tour this July.

The band wrote, “We've had the opportunity to meet and be blessed by countless people, and though there have been high and low times, we wouldn't trade it for anything.”

The members are parting ways to do what all bands do when they grow weary of the road – spend more time on family, church and individual music projects. Vocalist Darin Keim and bassist Israel are working together on new music, as is guitarist Brian Miller.

In their parting words, Staple wanted their fans to hold on to everything the band stood for. “We hope that our music and message has and will continue to challenge and encourage you in whatever phase of life you find yourself.”
