Oil Prices Drop to Lowest Level in 7 Years

Americans hitting the road this holiday season are receiving some good news: oil prices have fallen to the lowest in nearly seven years.

Crude dropped below the key level of $40 a barrel to $37.50.

Some experts say that it could eventually fall as low as $20-$25 a barrel, which could drop the national average for a gallon of gasoline much lower.

Right now, it sits at just over $2 a gallon. But in some states, it's as low as $1.80.
