Clinton Email Scandal Reminiscent of Nixon's Watergate

The man who helped break the infamous Watergate story in the 1970s says Hillary Clinton's email scandal is very much like President Richard Nixon's scandal that led to his resignation.

Former Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward said Clinton deleting 30,000 emails from her private server is the same as Nixon refusing to release recordings of conversations about Watergate.

So far, State Department officials say the review of Clinton's emails has turned up 305 messages that could include classified information.

And they've only just begun. Last week, Clinton turned over the home server to the FBI -- the one she used to send those emails.

Investigators say the server, which has been wiped clean, can still provide important information about whether the system had ever been hacked or shared with another user.
