Ted Cruz Picks Up Major Endorsement

GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz has been gaining steam in Iowa recently and Thursday, picking up the key endorsement of a top evangelical leader.

Bob Vander Plaats, with The Family Leader, announced his support for Cruz at a news conference Thursday.

It was Vander Plaats who endorsed Rick Santorum right before the Iowa Caucuses in 2012 and Santorum went on to win the all-important state.
