Analysis: GOP Unrest with Networks a 'Wild Scenario'

Republican presidential candidates say they are not going to take another debate like last week's on CNBC.

They met over the weekend to discuss debates going forward.

"These candidates are not only sick and tired of the liberal mainstream media," CBN News Chief Political Correpsondent David Brody said. "They're now starting to get sick of the Republican National Committee."

Brody said the RNC will still have some level of influence on the side in planning future debates, but the individual candidates plan to conference call to the host networks to offer instructions on how they want the debates to go.

Meanwhile, the large number of GOP candidates has added to the problem, with 'undercard,' lower-tier candidate campaigns' desiring more of a say as well.

"There is an unsettled feeling right now as to exactly how that's going to play out. Whether it's going to be seven candidates and then another seven candidates and have everyone mix and match - the 'undercard' and the 'adult table' -- all of this still has to be figured out. It's a wild scenario," Brody said.

Could this hurt Republican chances at the White House in 2016? We asked CBN News Chief Political Correpsondent David Brody how he thinks this could affect the candidates and the party. Click play to watch.
