Josh Duggar, the eldest son from the reality TV show "19 Kids and Counting," recently apologized after reports surfaced that he molested minors, including family members, when he was a young teen.

The news sparked a lot of outrage, conversation, and debate on the issue of child sexual abuse, especially among family members.

For more about this difficult issue, CBN News spoke with Boz Tchividjian, founder of GRACE, which stands for Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment. His group is a Christian non-profit that consults with faith organizations on the issue of child sexual abuse.

Tchividjian is also a former prosecutor who worked to combat sexual abuse.

He told CBN News that families should never ignore signs of child sexual abuse happening among family members.

The first rule of thumb is "don't ignore it," he says.

Parents need to make sure both the victim and the perpetrator receive appropriate treatment and care to bring healing to both people.
