Obama Honors Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry

President Barack Obama welcomed the 2015 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors to the White House Thursday to honor their NBA championship title achievement.

The visit is part of the president's practice of acknowledging successful professional sports teams and their contributions to the community.

In regards to the team's accomplishment last season, team leader and point guard Stephen Curry said that it was a blessing but he kept his faith the main focus.

"It just made me feel how blessed and thankful I am," he said, pointing out that "there are priorities in life. Obviously faith is foremost."

Coached by Steve Kerr and led by Curry, who is averaging close to 30 points per game, the Warriors look like they may be headed back to another championship this year.
