Actress Jennifer Garner is speaking out again about the impact of her new movie, "Miracles From Heaven."

Garner said making the movie has given her "a huge sense of gratitude" and appreciation for her children.

Garner is separated from her husband of 10 years, Ben Affleck. The couple has three children.

In "Miracles From Heaven," Garner plays a mom whose 10-year-old daughter has an incurable disease. Their lives are changed when a medical miracle unfolds.

Garner said she was raised in a religious environment and "wasn't scared of doing a movie that had faith at its center as long as it wasn't preachy."

"Miracles From Heaven" opens in theaters next week.
