Merkel on Firing Line over Germany's Open-Door Immigration Policy

The German voters have made it clear. Chancellor Angela Merkel and her open-door immigration policies have been disastrous for the country.

Citizens are throwing their support behind the controversial anti-immigrant party, Alternative for Germany (AfP).

In an exclusive interview, CBN News spoke with AfP spokesman Björn Höcke.

"I think we have to learn in Germany to call something by its name sadly," he said. "For a long time we've built this system of political correctness (and) we are forbidding a lot of thinking and speaking."

The AfD Party was formed just three years ago and has surged in popularity following Merkel's decision to allow millions of immigrants into the country.
