The Need
Today one-third of Holocaust survivors living in Israel are poor. About 850,000 children live in poverty, and 75 percent of impoverished Israelis miss meals because they simply can’t afford to eat. Also, in the West Bank the unemployment rate and food insecurity level rose to 25 percent in 2009.
What We Do
From helping Holocaust survivors and victims of disaster, to providing assistance to hungry families and creating jobs for disabled persons, Operation Blessing is bringing compassionate care and relief to families in need.
