What an amazing promise!
You may ask anything of the Lord and, as long as you abide in Him and seek His will, He promises to answer you in His perfect timing.
The Bible is filled with such comforting promises! For example, In the New Testament, Jesus promises never to leave us or forsake us. He tells us to come to Him when we are burdened or weary and He will give us rest (see Matthew 11:28).
And in the Old Testament, we read: Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in His commands. His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever (Psalm 112:1b-3, NIV).
