God’s Want Ad

CBN.com -- What if God decided to place a personal ad? How do you think it would read? I have a feeling it would go something like this:

One LG (Loving God) seeks intimacy and fellowship with AFF (A Faithful Friend). This special person should be a loving companion, one who enjoys long strolls on a forgotten beach, lighthearted laughter over silly things, an abiding affection for those who are hurting, and a burning desire to proclaim the good news to a lost and dying world.

Most importantly, this special someone must be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and be willing to unselfishly lay down his or her life for another. For in doing these things, there is no greater love.

“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).

This LG (Loving God) wishes to extend His mercy and kindness to a WS (Willing Servant), one who loves sharing the gospel and doesn’t mind getting caught in the rain while witnessing to a hurting generation.

This person must also have a THFI (tender heart for intercession), an ability to forgive easily, and a will that is forged in steel, fixed and immovable.

This Loving God longs to share His unconditional love to anyone with an open heart to receive it!
