Living Together Before Marriage is the 'New Norm'

The majority of American adults believe it's a good idea for couples to live together before tying the knot.  That according to a recent study by the Barna Group.

Two thirds of adults (65 percent) think cohabitation before marriage is good, compared to one-third (35 percent) who disagree.

Unsurprisingly, the most religious groups in America are the least likely to think cohabitation is a good idea.

Family Therapist and author Dr. Linda Mintle weighs in on the debate, saying the research doesn't back up the belief that cohabitation before marriage will make a future marriage stronger.
