Chris Hill, former pastor of Potter’s House of Denver, and mentee of T.D. Jakes has been restored to ministry after going through counseling after allegations he had an affair.

“After many months of intense work, I feel like I'm ready to consider a few of the doors God is opening for me to begin to minister, help others and provide for my family,” he said in the post. “…Thank you to all who have expressed their interest in helping me on what I'm calling "The Road to Recovery!""

Hill resigned from his position in Denver in April after he was alleged to have had an affair with Shirnae McFarlane, his goddaughter and employee at Potter’s House of Dallas. At that time he also announced he was separating from his wife.

Jakes prayed over Hill at a recent service in Potter’s House of Dallas.

“God said that if we confess our sins, that He is faithful and just to cleanse us from ... all unrighteousness. I just believe that this is what the grace of God is for," said Jakes in a video clip of the moment.
