Public Viewings Scheduled for Falwell

CBNNews.com - Funeral arrangements for Rev. Jerry Falwell have been arranged for Tuesday, May 22, at Thomas Road Baptist Church. While the graveside service will be private, the public has been invited to several viewings.
Falwell will lie in repose Thursday through Friday, and again on Sunday and Monday. The public has been invited pay their respects during the following scheduled times.
First viewing will be at the Arthur S. DeMoss Learning Center in the Grand Lobby on Thursday, May 17, from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., and Friday, May 18, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Second Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 20, from 1 p.m. To 8 p.m. and Monday, May 21, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Thomas Road Baptist Church.
Liberty University's baccalaureate and commencement programs will be held this weekend as scheduled, university officials said.
The baccalaureate service will be held at Friday, May 18, and commencement will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 19.
Instead of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the "Founders Scholarship Fund" of Liberty University: 1971 University Blvd. Lynchburg, VA 24502, or by calling 800-628-7972.
